Call of Cthulhu is a horror fiction role-playing game based on H. P. Lovecraft's story of the same name and the associated Cthulhu Mythos. The game is often abbreviated as CoC.
This version appears to have very few changes from the 4th edition.
- A hard cover version became available in 1993
- An update referred to as 5.2 also featured minor revisions and was released in 1995
- An update referred to as 5.5 also featured minor revisions and was released in 1998
- A hardcover version referred to as 5.6 was released in 1999
